Course Description
This course will discuss how sterilization pouches are made, how to use them correctly and the regulations applicable to sterilization processing.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the dental professional will be able to:
- Describe the importance of using sterilization pouches in healthcare settings
- Describe the importance of chemical indicators and how they work
- Explain how to load a sterilization pouch
- Determine if a sterilization pouch has been successfully processed
- Follow sterilization standards and recommendations
